Dr Kevin-DobbinsKevin Dobbins, O.D., received his Bachelor of Science degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. He then graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. This was followed by a post-graduate residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive/Ocular Surgical co-management at OMNI Eye Specialists in Baltimore, MD. There are only 9 positions offered for this joint residency in the United States per year.

Prior to joining Maryland Vision Institute, Dr. Dobbins completed clinical rotations at Eagle Vision and Eye Center in Longmont, CO; Optometric Care in Aliquippa, PA; the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lebanon, PA; and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. While at The Eye Institute, Dr. Dobbins completed a concentration in Low Vision at the William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center. In 2006, Dr. Dobbins traveled to Guatemala to provide mission eye care to rural citizens as a humanitarian effort. Dr. Dobbins is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association.

Dr. Dobbins resides in Hagerstown with his wife and 2 children. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family in his free time.
