In April 2026, Maryland Vision Institute will open a new, Medicare-approved Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) at this location. Once open, it will be one of the few outpatient centers in the region dedicated exclusively to eye surgery, including cataract and lens implant surgery, refractive surgery and LASIK, glaucoma surgery, and select ocular cosmetic procedures. The new ASC will feature a state-of-the-art operating suite, comfortable pre- and post-operative recovery areas, and convenient access for patients and their families—all designed to provide an exceptional surgical experience close to home.
